The school day officially ends at 3:00pm, but students who stay for extended hours are cared for by school staff until 5:45pm.
The preschool children play outside from 2:30pm until they are picked up, allowing them plenty of free play time. They are offered a snack during this time. There are also organized games for those who want to join in. If the weather is extreme, the children play inside the classrooms with special “rainy day” activities.
Kindergarten and elementary students also go outside at 2:30pm for recess with their friends.
